I'll never forget the car boot sale that was so cold the lock to our car boot was frozen shut for the first two hours.  The ground was sparkling with frost, and we could actually see the ice crystals spreading across our stuff.  At the end, we couldn't even start our car to drive home, and had to get a jump start from some of the other sellers there (thanks guys!).

Or there was the time my friend and I went to the Exmouth seafront car boot sale the weekend after it finished for the year - we just thought it was on every week...
